ATTORNEY SEAN F. MONAHAN

Sean Monahan is a native of Thompson, Connecticut. Sean is the firm’s founder and is a sole practitioner handling cases both in Connecticut and Massachusetts. He is a 1987 graduate of The University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut and earned his law degree in 1998 at Saint Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from UConn and before law school, Sean was a Bodily Injury Road Adjuster with a major New England insurance company in the Boston, Massachusetts area. This experience gives him a unique perspective and insight regarding his handling of all personal injury/wrongful death cases.

Sean entered private practice in 1998 as a founding partner of Monahan & Monahan, P.A. engaging in a civil practice at both the state and federal levels. He founded the firm of Sean F. Monahan, L.L.C. where he concentrates on personal injury/wrongful death, civil litigation and bankruptcy. He has personally handled thousands of personal injury and bankruptcy cases to successful results.

Sean’s practice has been a diverse mix of approximately 50 percent civil personal injury/wrongful death work and 50 percent bankruptcy work. Sean has been involved in numerous high-profile cases, including cases against Cooper Tire for tire defect litigation and Merck regarding Vioxx litigation. However, no matter the case, Sean is dedicated to his clients to achieve the best results possible.
